Business Development Manager appointed

The continuing growth in the Auckland Region District fueled by increasing population continues to stretch resources across meaning sectors, and is felt in many ways. This has both positive and negative spinoffs for everyone. At Birch Surveyors our staff numbers continue to grow as we cater for growing demand.

This month we are pleased to announce the employment of a Business Development Manager. Mark Hatten joined us in this key role, as part of a restructuring of our management team. Mark is a licensed Surveyor who graduated from Otago University in 1994 and has held senior roles in Auckland consultancies since 1999. With a background in Land Development and strong business skills, Mark will assist in leading the Auckland team with projects during it’s growth and development in the coming years.

Mark role also involves in assisting with the preparation of a new business plan for the next decade of growth, the implementation of business plans across all three branches, and the mentoring of younger staff.

This Christmas we will also be employing a local survey student so he can gain valuable work experience during his Semester break, and are pleased to have a young graduate Surveyor join us who will be completing his University studies this year.

It is always refreshing to employ additional staff who bring new ideas and additional energy to the Company.
